God vs. Science? Nay. God=Science.

Why do scientists try to disprove miracles?  So a scientist comes up with a plausible theory for how Moses parted the Red Sea.  So what?  God created science.  Why wouldn’t he follow His own rules?

  • Generally, those scientists who seek to provide scientific explanations to miracles are believers themselves. These are generally people who want to prove that such things are quite plausible to believe that God did them, as they followed natural laws. These scientists are not trying to dissuade belief, but bolster it.

Non-believing scientists feel no need to find natural explanations to events such as the flood and the parting of the Red Sea. They have a much easier solution: claim it never happened. After all, there’s pretty much no strong evidence for the actual occurrence of these miracles at all. So, why would a non-believing scientist go to the effort of creating explanations for events that he doesn’t even believe occurred in the first place?
